Getting Settled In..

We successfully relocated to Raleigh, NC this past August after announcing the relocation in mid-July. We are settling quite well into our home office and business is beginning to pick up for us in the area. While we are still serving several clients in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, our hopes are to grow our business in this region as we are in one of the hottest marketing/advertising regions in the country.

Kaplan Studio is Relocating!

Kaplan Studio will be relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina as of August 2008. It's been a pleasure working from Toledo with both our Michigan and Ohio clients and we hope to continue to build and maintain those relationships. We foresee only minor changes in workflow and communication. Ask us how this can work for you!

Due to the nature of our work, it is extremely easy and effective to work from anywhere! We already have commitments from many of our clients to continue working together and we hope you, too, will continue to be part of Kaplan Studio.

Part of our commitment to our northwest Ohio clients will be to continue supporting the community and maintain pricing based on the local market.
Why the move?

There are a number of personal and business-related reasons for our move to the southeast, and we'd like to share a few of them with you:

1. Raleigh is a hot-bed in the southeast for the marketing/technology industry.
2. A competitive market will make us better at what we do.
3. Better opportunity to gain national clients.
4. No snow! You don't have to shovel heat.
5. We'll be an hour and a half from the ocean.
6. And an hour and a half from the mountains.

HD Filming: Yes We Can Do That

Kaplan Studio is please to annouce that we now offer HD production capabilities to all of our customers. The superior image quality of HD truly makes a difference in broadcast and non-broadcast productions. We work with the Panasonic lineup of full production-quality HD products, which shoots in the DVCPro HD format. Kaplan Studio wins 3 at 2007 Crystal Awards

Kaplan Studio (known as E103 Productions at the time of the awards ceremony) received 3 awards at the 2007 Crystal Awards event located in the McMaster Center at the downtown Toledo Public Library branch. The annual event is sponsored by the Association for Women in Communication and is well attended by many local design and communication agencies.

Kaplan Studio won a merit award for a non-profit logo designed for the annual Glass City Beer Fest in Toledo, and a second merit award for a single campaign fundraiser, which was a
10-minute video designed to raise money and awareness for the Lenawee Community Health Foundation in Adrian, Michigan. A Crystal Award was awarded to a corporate identity system designed for the Wagley Funeral Home located in Adrian, Michigan.

The Crystal Awards, founded in 1982, honors achievement and excellence in writing, advertising, multimedia, photography, public relations, and video throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
